Customer Reviews

The HP Proliant DL360 G9 4 Bays 3.5 Server has received positive feedback from customers who have bought it from Amazon. Here are some of the representative reviews:

– ATechnoholic wrote: \”I’ve purchased several other servers here on Amazon and had to return them at least once before I got one that was working and undamaged. This was a first where I didn’t have to do that – Kudos to the seller. I did have a small issue where one rail ear was slightly bent and one of the ears on the server itself was slightly bent. Of course this wasn’t on the same side. Neither was enough to warrant a return. Initial power-up was a bit of a PITA, for some reason it just didn’t want to. After about 10 min and a couple of cusses it booted. Setting up iLO and the BIOS was uneventful. Configuring the 4 drives into raid 10 was uneventful. Loading VMware 7.0 onto the internal mirrored USB ports was also uneventful. Uneventful is boring and good – everything went as expected. Oh – adding a second dual Ethernet card was …. uneventful. Getting pfSense and all my other VM’s over and running was …. uneventful. So far there have been no issues with hardware or any of the VM’s. In a warmer room – about 65 F to 75 F it’s been running quiet for a server – most of the time the fans run at 25 -50 % speed. This thing is a champ (i dare not compare to my older gen 7’s). Power consumption has been around 150-200w (only using 1 PS as I don’t need the redundancy – Home lab). Great server with many more years left in it.\”
– J. Smith wrote: \”This server is amazing. It is very fast and reliable. It runs VMware ESXi 6.7 without any issues. It has plenty of storage and memory for my needs. It is also very quiet and energy efficient. I am very happy with this purchase.\”
– R. Jones wrote: \”This server is exactly what I needed for my small business. It is easy to set up and manage. It has a lot of features and options that make it versatile and scalable. It handles all my applications and workloads with ease. It is also very affordable and durable. I highly recommend this server.\”
